About Me

My photo
I'm a girl who wears my heart on my sleeve and glasses on my face. I have my awkward moments, but I also have my awesome moments. I say y'all and I love it.

I still have a blog?!

I have been so busy, I ALMOST forgot about my blog. Let's see, there's some interesting things I need to fill you guys in on.
1) It's my birthday today. I'm 20!!! 366 days until I'm 21....dang leap year!
2) I'm engaged! :). I'm currently wedding planning and it's SO fun!
That's about it, but there's so many details about the engagement, but I've got a sick baby cousin to take care of. I'll blog about all that good stuff another day.
XoxO.

Marine Corps Ball 2011.

I have a bucket list (future blog idea.) It's a pretty simple bucket list, but a bucket list nonetheless.
And on that list was to attend a USMC Ball.
Thanks to my dear sweet boyfriend, I can officially check that off!

A big thanks to Baboo (my aunt) who made me look like a freaking movie star in less than an hour.
She's got mad skillZ, yo.

Here is the finished result.
Yeah, Jennifer Garner wore her hair like this, but I wore it better.
I'm totally rockin' the red lipstick.
My gorgeous friend, Angela looking stunning in her dress.
Is my date handsome or what?
Yeah, we are hot. It's okay to be jealous. Really, I understand.
HUBBA HUBBA.
His kisses make everything better. So cliche´ but true.
We can't resist mirror pictures.
Sometimes, I like to pretend I'm a model. A girl can dream....
After a long and successful night at the ball.
My boyfriend is so awesome, he had an entire date day planned for the following day.
Seriously, he rocks.

Christopher parked at the VERY top of the parking garage at the San Diego mall.
(Nice mall, btw.)

Anyways, you can't see it, but the view was so pretty.
Old town has got to be one of the coolest places in SoCal.
It's tiring being so cool.
And to end our lovely weekend, we went and saw The Three Musketeers 3D.
We're lookin' hot in our 'staches.
I am blessed.

For she's a jolly good four year old..

My sweet red headed, curly haired, baby cousin Emmalyn Louise turned FOUR!
Where has the time gone?! It seems like just a few months ago I was putting the first diaper on her.
She brings so much joy into my life and I love her so much.

Here is the birthday girl who woke up at 6:37 A.M.
Me: "Emma, do you want chocolate chip pancakes?"
Birthday girl: "I want chicken and dumplings."
Me: "What? No, that's for supper. Do you want them or not?"
Birthday girl: " FINE. I'll have chocolate chip pancakes."
The prettiest four year old on the planet Earth.
She loved the attention (as seen above) but HEY, WHO DOESN'T?!
She did NOT make a wish, but that's okay I'm almost positive somebody will get her what she wants :).
As you can see the cupcakes were a success. And let's just say, I don't see a career in the cupcake business.

**I also apologize for the crappy camera quality. Only a few more months until I get the iPhone 4S!

Ladies, take notes.

Here are some DO'S and DON'TS for relationships.
NO, I didn't think of these on my own, but I do agree with them.

1. This should go without saying.
Love him for who he is!
2. Compromise for movies. Watch his favorite movies and he’ll give in for the movie you want to see.
3. Any time your guy gives you a compliment, don’t just roll your eyes and ruin the moment. He means it, and you should smile and say thank you!
(Maybe in return you could give him a kiss...on the cheek, of course ;D)
4. “Fine” or “whatever” is NOT an appropriate ending to a conversation. Only makes matters worse.
(YEP! I know that first hand.)
5. NEVER EVER kick them in the place below the belt. Even in a fight or argument, just don’t do it.
6. TRUST HIM.
(Thank the Lord for my trustworthy man :D)
7. Listen to him. Even if it’s something you don’t want to hear.
Good communication is key.
(TRUE FACT)
8. Let your guy take pictures of you. He may not admit it, but that picture will probably be with him always. Even if you think it looks horrible.
9. Remind him that you appreciate all the sweet little things he does for you.
10. Communicate with him. Tell him directly what’s on your mind.
(I know this all too well...)
11. Let him know you’re on his side and that you support him and believe in him.
12. Forgive him. Forgiveness is a huge part of a relationship. You may not always want to do it, and he will definitely not always deserve it, but then again, we don’t necessarily always deserve forgiveness either.
(MMMMHHHHMMMM!)
xoxo.

Just because....

I like the sound my fingers make when I type on the keyboard.

This song has been on repeat for the past hour.

Money Smoney!

Long story short.

My laptop charger died. (It didn't do its job a lot of the time, anyways!)
I refuse to buy one anytime soon though. I'm managing pretty good so far without it.
Maybe I'll just put it on my Christmas list. Good idea, eh?
I have a plane ticket to buy, bills to pay, and Christmas presents to purchase.
I'll do without a charger until I absolutely HAVE to have one.

Wow, this post was rather boring and wasn't all that long to begin with. HA!
