You know what grinds my gears?

There are several things that I just have to vent about. So if you get offended, I apologize in advance, but I must get them off my chest.

1) When people add people (on facebook) they don't even know.

(Uhm, hello. That's not safe AND it doesn't look good on your part.)

2) Girls who wear athletic tights and a really cute top.

(I'm sorry I just don't find that attractive.)

3) When pregnant women smoke.

(I'm sorry, but really?! I just think it's selfish.)

4) When people grope each other in public.

(Come on people, have a little bit of class.)

5) When people write on somebody's wall and say "text me."

(REALLY?! In the time it took you to write that, you could have already texted them.)

Okay, I'm done. For now. I feel much better.

My life is average;

WOW, I haven't blogged in such a long time, but I really don't have anything too exciting to blog about. I mean, it's not like I attended a Royal Wedding or anything. To be honest, I really didn't care about it. I didn't even bother watching it on tv. I'm not the only one though, right?!

The only exciting news that I have to share is that I am NOT moving back to Texas in May, like I had planned. Want to know something, though? I'm perfectly okay with it. It's so neat to think you have everything all planned out, and then it doesn't happen...SOMETHING BETTER happens, instead!! Thank You, Lord! I am very BLESSED to have a job (that I love), an amazing family, and super awesome friends. Man, Jesus sure is awesome!!!!!

Hello 2011. What have you got for me?

My only problem with the 'new year' is a new. years. reso-freaking-lution. UUUUGH! When i hear those three words, I'm really hearing 'a plan to fail.' I can never stick with any resolutions that I make. It's kind of a bad thing, but I guess that can be my resolution- to stick to any that I make. Well, I have a few more that would be in my best interest to stick with....buuuut, I've made the first two several times in 2010, and they, not surprisingly, didn't happen.

1. Less sweets and soda.

(might as well just punch me in the face)

2. Get my fit on, regularly.
(HA. HA)

but seriously.

3. Get more into The Word.
(This one I'm DEFINITELY sticking with!!!)

Well, sadly, that's all that I've come up with. I'll let you know in a few weeks how well I'm keeping up with these.

***I just realized how lame this blog post was. I know you don't care to hear about my resolutions. I mean, I'm sure you have your own resolutions to worry about, right? BRAVO.

Top Ten Reasons;

Lately, I have been MAJORLY homesick. (Sad story, really.) Anyways, today I have been looking on the P O S I T I V E side, and thinking of reasons why I LIKE it here...and in all honesty, I couldn't even think of ten reasons at first, but I managed to think of seven more, so here they are...WAIT, living with the Snipes' clan is my FAVORITE thing about being in Californ-i-a, but that's implied :), now where were we...oh yeah....

1. I live on a Marine base. :).

2. I love my church. God is great!

3. You can see the beach from my window.

4. I am that much closer to meeting Nicholas Jerry Jonas.

5. Katy Perry says I'm unforgettable.

6. I am an hour away from Sea World, L.A., Disneyland, and Knotts berry Farm.

7. I-hop is right down the road.

8. When I open my window, I feel the nice ocean breeze.

9. The Subway in wal-mart has LAYS salt&vinegar chips! BOOYAH!

10. My address is 1-2-3 Shapley Way. It's easy to remember.

Holy smokes! I have totally broken my "promise" that I made. I have not kept up with my blog. Well, it's not like anything too interesting has happened. Let's see, I went to New Orleans, came back and enjoyed my short time in the BEST STATE EVER, then came back to spoil mister Fischer, celebrate Cooper's NINE years of life, and simply hang out with the Snipes' family :). Other than that, nothing has happened. OH YEAH, my grandma came out here to visit for a few days; she's awesome!....Well, I am currently job searching. NOT. FUN. AT. ALL! I need a job until January or else I'll be BROKE as a JOKE. (Which, I don't get that saying, because jokes are funny....but, being broke isn't funny....) I have TOMS shoes to buy and I don't get any closer to buying them if I'm job-less...oh, and I'm also saving up for a car. WOO! ....I wonder how much chauffeurs cost....California driving is INTENSE! And I thought Waco was bad, HA!! I hope I get a job I'll enjoy and isn't TOO much labor ;). Well, now you're all caught up. I'll end this blog with pictures from Cooper's birthday! :).
